lvm question

hi,
I have an lvm on 8.10 which works fine only it got full so I added another drive using webmin it shows the correct size, when I look at it in konqueror it shows the correct size, yet it acts as if it's still full, rsync fails, copy and paste fails, I would really not like to recreate this drive and have to recopy the 300 gig I have on it, is there some command I can look at the drive to see what the problem is?

Have you rebooted since adding the new volume? What the output of df -h ? I assume you resized your share after you added the new volume right?
