UNABLE TO PLAY VIDEOS ON DRAGON PLAYER AND VLC PLAYER

    Hi,

I'm pretty new to Kubuntu. When i play a video on Dragon player i can hear the sound of the video but no video playback itself. I thought it may be a bug on Dragon but when i installed VLC i could get video playback but no sound. I have installed all the proprietary Nvidia drivers but i have no clue as to what the problem may be. Any thoughts/ideas as to what the problem may be or did i miss something during installation of VLC. Amarock plays without any problem. Please Help!!

    My System Specs are:

    AMD Athlon X2 5200+
    ASUS Motherboard
    Nvidia Geforce 8400GS video card.
