    Hi

I installed Kubuntu inside windows and it rebooted as if Kubuntu hasnt been installed!

    What is wrong?
I only see an additional ubuntu folder inside my C: but I dunno what to do after this.

If you installed using WUBI it should be as a Windows program under Start Programs

If you installed this via Wubi then you should be able to see it as a Windows program as GilGib said, BUT if you installed it as a dual boot then it's available for choosing in the booting menu at startup. Which did you do and how? That's the info that ya need to post a bit more of my friend!

Option 3 is that haven't taken the DVD out, on reboot you will be presented with the "try kubuntu" option.

As previously mentioned, more info please - eg what do you see when you reboot?

          I have posted two images.

I clicked on install inside windows

The second image shows the final results in "My Computer" after reboot.

Do I have to use wubi?

There is a brief guide here

                http://technofriends.in/2008/08/02/i...ws-using-wubi/

Reading the guide, whether you have installed using wubi (which is the application used to install within windows) or as a full blown dual boot system, you should be given the option to boot into ubuntu before Windows boots.

You have a "ubuntu" folder, it may be useful to open that folder and paste the screenshot. Also check in add/remove programs to see if it has been installed.

I'm also wondering about the mbr file and am just questioning whether it might be in the wrong place to be spotted at boot up. However, my knowledge on that topic is limited but others who are far more knowledgeable will doubtless be along soon.
