Hey Kubuntu guys,
U here again. You guys been pretty helpful since Ive switched to the Kubuntu bandwagon.
Kubuntu for the most part covers my needs.
Under Microsoft Windows, you could input another language characters, like japanese or chinese,
when you went into Settings > Control Panels > Keyboards and Languages. Then you
would install a language. It would install the "foreign" language.
When your typing a document, if you needed to add a foreign character, you would hit control+space to change the language from English to Japanese/Chinese. Then you could enter the letters there.
It was called Microsoft Pinyin Character Input (for the Chinese Mandarin Language).
Is there a way to do that under Kubuntu using the GUI (mouse clicks only)?
To an extent, I've been using the command line a little more, but its still noob-ish.
Like xterm, cd, ls, and exit. Pretty much all I know, lol.
Thanks in advance,
- U
