"Secrets for WiFi" pops up all the time

I have a WiFi adapter which seems to be dropping the connection frequently. Each time that happens, I am asked to confirm the password for the connection. Having entered it once, there is no need for me to confirm it a second time. Is there some way to have the WiFi facility just use the password, silently?

And is there a way to get the wallet to stop asking me for the password to access the wallet every time I log in? I understand the desire for good security, but I live alone, and all of this typing is unnecessary in my case.

    Thanks!

Just have to open kwalletmanager and click settings un-check enable. knetworkmanager applet should save the password then. Less secure but if your like me convenience comes first sometimes.

yes. you can tell knetworkmanager to store the password in an unencrypted file. It will ask for the password one last time so it can store the password to that file, and it should leave you alone after that. If that is what you would like to do, right click on your network manager applet, select "manage connections", click on "other", then click on the "connection secrets" tab, and then finally select "Store connection secrets:" "In file (unencrypted)" This is what I do for this single user computer. Our router is still secured though.
