    Can you have multiple user profiles like Windows?

    I'm looking to move onto kubuntu as I've just started playing around with linux.

    However my wife and daughter also use the PC for email/web etc and I wondered if with Kubuntu you can have multiple users/profiles like Windows.

    Linux was built for multiple user profiles. Windows got that only recently (Windows 98 and before didn't really support it that well). Go to KUser and you can add as many users as you want (with different permissions).

      Give them all permissons but not 'sudo' premissions
