flash playback stopped functioning in Firefox

    I really need your help!!!
After installing Internet Explorer 7 and flash support for it in wine, flash in Firefox stopped working, although all the necessary plugins in Firefox are installed and enabled.
Please, help me to restore flash functionality in Firefox. I'm on Kubuntu 10.04.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance.

In Firefox, type aboutlugins in the URL window. You should see:
    Shockwave Flash

    File: libflashplayer.so
    Version:
    Shockwave Flash 10.0 r45

    MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled
    application/x-shockware-flash Shockwave Flash swf Yes
    application/futuresplash FutureSplash Player spl Yes
And, in a console, libflashplayer.so should be located in:
    paul@mybrainonlinux:~$ locate libflashplayer.so
    [sudo] password for paul:
    /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so
    /usr/share/ubufox/plugins/libflashplayer.so
And they should be identified as:
    paul@mybrainonlinux:~$ ls -l /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10291000 2010-05-02 11:30 /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so
    paul@mybrainonlinux:~$ ls -l /usr/share/ubufox/plugins/libflashplayer.so
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 48 2010-05-02 11:30 /usr/share/ubufox/plugins/libflashplayer.so -> /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so
Here, flash works correctly in Firefox (Version 3.6.3)
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
