How to get image gallery downloads

OK well at least while I am trying toget flash player 7 to download and install properly I can at least add a picture from the image gallery as my wallpper.

How is this done?

Which image gallery? If you're talking about the image gallery here, just click on the image until it displays it's full size, and then right click on it to choose "Save Image As" or something similar (depends on what web browser you are using)

Just add extra repositories and

sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude install flashplugin-nonfree
