Where is the US with deadkeys layout.

I want to use the US with deadkeys keyboard layout(kubuntu 606).
But it is not in the list.
How do I solve this problem?

I have no idea what you mean by the apellation "US with dead keys". If you can describe the keyboard layout you're referring to, perhaps someone can help.

Re: Where is the US with deadkeys layout.

System Settings --> Regional & Accessibility --> Keyboard Layout

      Select "Enable keyboard layouts
Scroll down the "available layouts" and highlight "U.S. English"
      Click the "add" button

(You will now have two identical U.S. English keyboard layouts in the "Active Layouts" window)

      Highlight the new entry
Under "layout variant" (just below the "add" button), select "intl"
Under "label," type "usi" (for U.S. - International)

      Click "APPLY"

A little flag will appear in your system tray. Clicking on it will switch between your standard us layout and your new us w/ dead keys (usi) layout.

(edited to correct typo and some clarification)
(edit #2 - yet another misspelled word -- argh)
