    [solved] Folder view / Dolphin

    Another question from a Newbie:

I managed to put a "folder view" of my home folder onto the desktop (or what it is called in Kubuntu.... sorry for that!), just have easy access to all my folders and files..

But whenever I click on one of the folders within my home-folder ("documents" for example), this folder opens in dolphin. This works, of course, but it would have been quite nice if even this folder would open in a "folder view" way.
    Is that possible to do?
    How?

By the way: what is the function of the "desktop" folder?

    Thanks in advance!

PS: Kubuntu 10.04 on Toshiba Satellite L500D-11D.

    Re: Folder view / Dolphin

Don't click on the desired folder. Just mouse on it and wait. The folders contents will be displayed in another 'window.' You can do the same to any other folders you then see.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.
