libtk8.4.so

Hello,

For one of my programs I seem to need the library libtk8.4.so. I know that I have tk8.4 and tcl8.4 installed, as I just checked that... and I would have thought that libtk8.4.so is part of that, but it doesnt seem to work.
The error I get when I try to run my program is>

error while loading shared libraries: libtk8.4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

I am using Kubuntu 6.06 on my laptop.
What does this mean and what can I do about it?

OK, I have now downloaded the file libtk8.4.so and I moved it into the /lib/ directory. However, I still get the same error...

Was it wrong to just move it there?

I made it work by moving some additional files into the lib directory.
