    (SOLVED) Need Help - How to install Mxit-plugin for Kopete



    I've downloaded the file (kopeteircplugin01.tar.gz), I've extracted it too.
    Now comes the tricky part...
    I've got no idea (or clue) how to install, make, copy or whatever I must do with it.
    Could someone please give me detailed instructions on the steps?

    I remember using a guide from here http://www.tuxfiles.org/linuxhelp/softinstall.html during the bad old days running breezy and really had to do manual installations. If may run into dependency errors but just install the packages missing as per konsole.

      thanks for the reply. Got it. Now it's so much easier for me to work with all my 'chatters' in one place instead of all over the screen LOL
