If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
Kopete does have a facebook plugin by default if you are using KDE 4.4. I think they had that with the KDE release just before 4.4. Go to Settings --> Configure --> Add New Account.
MoonRise... I do have kde 4.4.2 installed and Kubuntu Netbook 10.04LTS upgraded from Kubuntu Netbook 9.10. I went to settings > configure> add new account; but there is no facebook account to add. I will post a picture of it.

that's what mine looks like on Lucid KDE-4.4.2 as well..........
