I recently switched from Windows to Linux. Like 4 days ago. I tried to play an MP3 and Amarok popped up with it's compatibility loader. I accepted and it flashed a box that went away quickly. I found after I had tried many forum suggestions, that trying the same thing from another user account worked. Permissions wasn't an issue, but for some reason it worked there, and now all accounts will play MP3. Just something that worked for me, so I figured I would post it for everyone else with this problem to try.
- Please do not use the CODE tag when pasting content that contains formatting (colored, bold, underline, italic, etc) Use the QUOTE tag instead.
The CODE tag displays all content as plain text, including the formatting tags, making it difficult to read.
