I think you're looking for "System Tray". Right click on your panel, click "unlock Widgets" if needed, click "Add widgets", Type System Tray in the search area and then drag system tray to your panel

Again, right-click on the Panel, choose Panel Options > Add Widgets... then click+drag the Application Launcher (or Application Launcher Menu) to the Panel. Done.
