    http://kubuntuguide.org/Karmic

this is a nice reference for all us newbies! It would be nice, at some point in time, to be able to download this as a PDF file for easy viewing/reference.

It's only one page, albeit rather long.

You don't need it to be a PDF. Just go Firefox>File>Save Page As...

You have saved the HTML to your computer and can look at it anytime you want.

You could also open up the html in Open Office and then save it as PDF (after some small editing )

If you're using firefox you can capture the web using scrapbook addon, then you can create the pdf easily using htmldoc.

        Code:
        sudo apt-get install htmldoc

On Hardy I just use File->Print when I want to make something into a PDF. I am not sure why it works, but it does for me.

Actually, it's about 30 pages, but the pages are nested so that for the most part it displays as one long page. This allows the primary page to be printed "more easily".

However, there are many nested links that do not display unless you click on them. For example, the links on Drupal and MediaWiki are nested three deep (because not every user wants to know how to create a multi-site installation of Drupal, for example). There are detailed sections on Kolab groupware, DaviCAL group calendar, WorldVistA EHR, and several other complex programs that can be run on Kubuntu.

Further, much of the information is co-ordinated with Ubuntuguide.org so that instructions are consistent.

There's a lot of info when you scratch the surface.
