    HELP set Desktop Resolutions

I am using Kubuntu lucid and when I change desktop settings they always
revert back to default. How can I change this?

I can not believe this problem still exist. I am tired of having to change
resolutions ever time I restart this computer. Ubuntu works just fine.

      Have a look at:

      Code:
      man xorg.conf
It may be possible to set this in the Display - Modes option in your /etc/xorg.conf file.

You can also set it with the xrandr command, which you could set up as an autostart command, if the xorg options refuse to cooperate. You amy also be able to set this using the vga= or gfxpayload options in your grub menu. if you are using grub-1.97 or later.

Depending on your video driver, it may also be possible to set it somewhere in your driver's configuration. We would need more info on your hardware and video software to be more specific.
