Problem with my ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 compatibility driver

Hi!

For first, I have Kubuntu 9.10 64 bits.

I'm posting on this forum because I have a problem with my new graphic card : ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650.
I tried eveything:

• for Envy: It sayed to me that there was a compatible driver, after activation, the screen resolution was good, but, I had a message on the bottom right corner of my screen with this message: "UnSupported Hardware" and, after the Compiz activation, my screen freezed, so, I was scared, I disabled the driver... I tried this one a second time and it was the same thing...
• after, I tried with the ati.run solution: I had an error with "there isn't any AGP card installed"...
  
• Then, I tried the Ati solution: but I had aproximatively the same problem.
• for last, I tried, hmmm... I forget
  

Finnaly, I understood that my graphic card don't have a driver yet on KUbuntu (Ubuntu too ?)...

So, I'm asking you, if there was any other solution ??

my graphic card don't have a driver yet on KUbuntu (Ubuntu too ?)...

Your Radeon 5xxx series card has no Linux driver support from ATI, afaik.

You mean that I can't use Compiz, ohh...
Do you think that I can use a seven driver on Kubuntu? If yes, how?

PS: I know now that I have to wait for a 5xxx driver... I hope not too long!
