When I boot up Linux Mint 8.0 Helena or SuperOS Ubuntu9.10 then this message does splach under the avatar/logo.
It takes some extra 40 seconds or more than all the other things at boot time.
are there any cheat code one could use to chose it one want them or not?
What are these fave things that get installed?
I write from SuperOS now in frugal install on a HP/Compaq Vista machine bought new one year ago.
Does Kubuntu have something similar to SuperOS? A latest Kubuntu with all the extra things that allow one to look at streaming video and youtube and flash and what have you.? Three browsers and so on.
I've heard much positive things about kubuntu.
Have you guys solved how one do saving to a casper-rw file in frugal install?
I know it is done in wubi but wubi crash during some updating. Maybe frugal crash do too. I am a newbie so have not updated. Such always create problem.
