I installed the rt2870.inf with ndiswrapper as suggested in another thread on this forum.
I still can not get any contact via wifi with internet.
I don't see the adapter in the networkdetails.
I have to internal eth's working properly.
What do I do wrong?
I also compiled the tar that is offered by ralink.
Seemed to work fine, but the suggested ifconfig command in the help text comes with an error: incorrect device
sudo /sbin/ifconfig ra0 inet 192.168.0.101 up
I took the ip-number currently used by my PC's wired connection
Kubuntu 8.04 HH 64 bits
