Compiz on Virtualbox

I have Windows 7 as host and Kubuntu 9.10 as a guest on Virtualbox.

I really want to use the Compiz effects on Kubuntu 9.10 (e.g. wobbly windows, zoom and cube).
I have already installed the guest additions, Compiz settings manager and have enabled wobbly windows and cube in the compiz manager and under system settings too. However, it still does not work....

Please can someone help me? Thanks a lot in advance

Check to see whether 3D acceleration is enabled in the VirtualBox settings for the the VM.

Machine -> Settings -> Display -> Video

Sorry, in the machine menu there is no "settings", but I have logged out and checked the settings and 3D acceleration is enabled......
