      The question does not make sense. Please elaborate.
      Windows no longer obstructs my view.

        "Kwin" is a dummy package. You "install" it because it drags in the "kde-window-manager" package as a dependency. That is the real thing. It is called KWin (note the extra capital letter). KWin is the KDE4 window manager. So the question is which one are you asking about? My second question is: Please define "hook up" ?
