Help needed with Ubuntu 9.10

Umm. Hi guys...well i just installed the Ubuntu 9.10 netbook remix.
Well it's all fine, but it works damn slow and the most worst part is that i cannot mount my other hdd drives.
Please help me.


PS: i Think it is a beta version cause it shows like that at the top of the screen.
It is a i386 version or something. Thank you.(I am a complete Blank slate when it comes to linux.)

that netbook remix is a work in progress and still a little bugey..........unless you just want to play with it I would sugjest installing the regulare Kubuntu 9.10.........that sead.

what have you tryed to mount your other drives?

do you see them in the places panell in dolphin?

if so cliking it should mount it.

if not post back

O and what are you instaling on?
