Xtraceroute in Kubuntu?

Are there any installable packages for xtraceroute in kubuntu?

Or better yet, is there a graphical traceroute utility in the repositories?

Does not appear so. A Google search finds xtraceroute at several download sites, but it's old, and comments indicated the database it uses is way out of date and not maintained, and so, unreliable and inaccurate. I found no other 'linux' or 'open source' equivalents.

I see 3 simalar packages in synaptic doing a seartch for "traceroute"

Yes, but none of those are 'graphical' which is what the OP is looking for.

I think that the CLI version will do just fine. Just need to drop my old Windows habits.
