    Mouse Click

    Talk about a Dummy!

I am in the process of converting my computers from XP/Vista to Kubuntu 9.1. A few outstanding problems, but overall really impressed with Kubuntu.

Yesterday I did a real dumb thing, I was trying to speed up the response to a double click on the mouse, and set it up from 400 ms to 100 ms through System settings - Keyboard and Mouse. WHOW what a dumb thing! Now I can no longer change anything through System Settings as I can not double click fast enough.

Where can I change this setting going through the Konsole?

Just change from double-click to single-click (for now).

you can allso do the with just the keybord..............

          from the desktop hit alt>F2
type system settings and hit enter

press tab twice.... (for me you may half to play with it)

then use the arow keys to highlite keybord and mouse and press enter.

now keep presing the tab key untill the left catagorey panell is highlited (border will lite up)
and use the arrow key to highlite mouse and hit enter.

now use the tab to highlite afeald and edit ........or keep trying tab and arrow keys untill you can use arrow key's to switch the tabes on mouse setttings to the advaced tab and then the tab key to highlite the dobbel click intervall box and eddit.
