removed network manager need to reinstall

    hi,

I removed the network manager from the "KPackageKit" as i was wanting to reinstall it after a bug...

now as I don't have network connection i cannot reinstall it... doh...

i downloaded network-manager .deb and installed it but am not seeing it on my desktop as it also removed the packages:

    plasma-widget-network-manager
    plasma-widget-networkmanagement
    network-manager-gnome

how can I install these packages by downloading it via another PC (win xp)?

    I'm using kubuntu 9.10...

    thanks,
    teak

    edit...

ha... of course not until after i made this post that i found my solution...

    http://linuxappfinder.com/package/network-manager

has links to the apps associated to network-manager...

    download the .deb
    install
    reboot
    viola...

The other way was to connect manually using this link
    Manual Network Connection
and then install wicd or whatever from repository

Kubuntu 16.04 on two computers and Kubuntu 17.04 on DELL Latitude 13
