[SOLVED] lost GUI trying to edit xorg.conf

I had installed nvidia glx which wrote a xorg.conf file to etc/X11 but I cannot edit it with the live cd because of permissions. Tried in console mode but kate nor gk sudo or gedit can run without xserver and it is not started in console and I dont know how to turn it on. Please help.
Mabey I can change file permissions in console or at least start Xserver.
I just want to be able to log in again into GUI .
