    Burning Kubuntu to DVD

I have downloaded Kubuntu 9.10 to my desktop. Can I now burn this to DVD and use that DVD to install the new version on to my laptop?
If yes, do I use the burn DVD ISO image within K3b?

    Yes to all, assuming you:
    1) downloaded the DVD .iso (alternate)
    2) have a DVD burner (you can't burn a DVD .iso to a CD)
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

I think the most simple way today is to use iso with Unetbootin in Kubuntu or in Windows to make bootable USB flash disk.
Kubuntu 16.04 on two computers and Kubuntu 17.04 on DELL Latitude 13

You know winny that sometimes you are forced to use CD/DVD. I was forced to use a flash disk to install Kubuntu on a netbook, I liked it and since the time if I could choose I would use a flash disk every time it is possible.
Benefits: faster preparation of the media, faster loading during install, reusable media, no MD5 control after burning.
