Lost Icon in application launcher menu

When dragging the hibernate icon in the favorites section of the kickoff application launcher menu, it somehow disappeared. How do I get it back?

I have never heard of that I tried to do the same on mine and it wasn't allowed. I am running karmic.

I think that happend to me once in my computer just restart your computer and that will fix it...and if not just make the link to the app.

I just restarted the computer and the icon did not come back. How do I make the link to the app?

I would recommend removing the launcher and adding a new one. I don't know if that will fix it or not, but it shouldn't hurt.

Somewhere I have read that if you are using the multiple desktop thing you loose your desktop icons.

maybe the same thing with you? Or are these menu's independent of desktop and vice-versa
