Kubuntu window size on an Acer Aspire One D250

I have just installed 9.10 on my Aspire One D250 and I have noticed that some elements on windows or other things are cut off by either the bottom or sides of the screen. Is there a way to fix this problem because I really like Kubuntu but i will replace it if I cant fix this.

try using the netbook plasma version.

open up your package manager and serch for netbook-plasma
its made for those small screens, some programs may have to be manually resized after you open them.

Maybe you are close to the solution. I have Acer Aspire One D150 and I did not experienced problems you described. Even a picture for the splash screen resizes automatically from 1024x768 to 1024x600. I do not use netbook plasma version. Do you have System Settings - Display - 1024x600 as I have?
Kubuntu 16.04 on two computers and Kubuntu 17.04 on DELL Latitude 13

Yes the resolution is 1024 by 600, but the problem is still there.
