help setting up wireless on Macbook(kubuntu)

Hello i am new to this stuff!!
How would i get my Macbook to get on the internet wirelessly?
I ran "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install wicd"
I think that may help!!
Help would be appreciated thank you!!
