Best Media Centre

I no some of ye are going to dislike this but whats the best media player for linux some thing like windows media centre, as i have not yet seen any thing that is as well rounded as it yet I want some that looks up to date or is amarok the best out there.

You can look at xbmc at xbmc.net for more info. Even though I've got it working fully the way I wanted, but from my first look, it should give MSMC a run, but again, MSMC didn't work very well either.

Never heard of this project. Are you pleased with it? I'd like to think that there is an open source replacement for M$MC. I'm going to give it a try anyway, just thought I'd ask.

WOW! For an Alpha release, that sure is one sweet application. Just the quick peruse I was impressed. More than I was @ first with MSMC. I think I now have something to further convince a few to switch. Thanks!

yes verey nice seams to run well

XBMC that is....

but IMO it's a bit mutch just for a medea player.....

now if your using your box as a multymedea center this would be the bomb.

O and I think it's xbmc.org

I no it.Its the xbox media centre sabayon have it as a default but ya maybe i'll take a look had forgoten about it. Does it bother any one that (Microsoft) made that as well LOL.
