    Wireless ESSID issue

    Hello everyone...

I just tried Kubuntu 9.04 and 9.10 and had an issue setting up the wireless, the problem was I use a Wireless Router that hides it ESSID. Even though I tried several times for each OS install I could not get the PC to connect to the Router...

    1. The Router has been used for some time now under it's current config with out any issue, so that
    rules out the router.
    2. With Unbuntu 9.04 I can select that I am trying to connect to a hidden ESSID but I do not see where
I can do this in Kubuntu.

many thanks If I can get some help with this issue

    Hi

You should be able to right click on the network management icon, then do Manage Connections, and specify the ESSID and get going, do you see that option?
