Hi all! I'm using a router (192.168.0.1), and currently I'm using archlinux. Samba worked on all distros I used before (ubuntu, suse, fedora etc.), but now, it stucks on 60-120kb/sec (even if I unplug the WAN from the router, so it's not going across the internet, and ping to that computer is 0.5ms). If some of you are using samba with only kio (I don't have gvfs installed), and behind a router (hopefully 192.168.x.1), then could you copy me an smb.conf, which works with the neighbourhoods' ****dows XP machines with around 5-6MB/sec?
All my computers are connected to the router with cable, but it can be, that I didn't install anything even from kdenetwork or any other programs, but I would even like to know, which confs and progs' lackage can slow down samba?
