I'm sorry that I already made a thread on this, but it was close and I wanted to disclose some more info. ndiswrapper doesn't support my wireless card. My wireless card is the Linksys WMP54GX. So would my only options be to get a new wireless card or just use my ethernet card? By the way, I can only use my ethernet card if I move my computer to my living room.

Take a look at this Ubuntu wiki page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WifiDocs/LinksysWPC54G I don't know if it's applicable to your card.
