Is there a reduced version of Kubuntu that can be placed on the Sharp Zaurus SL 5500? I happen to come across one, and want to turn it into a MP3, movie player and such. Since I'm a big fan of Kubuntu, I wondered if anyone had ever done this.

That's an embedded OS:

Meaning the OS is loaded into firmware at the factory -- you are not going to install Kubuntu or any other OS on it. -

You can change the OS even if it's embedded; it's just a different process. Search the 'Net for Opie or Angstrum.Comment
