I am on 8.04. When I try to install .NET 2.0 inthe wine that came with 8.04, the inittialling install popup hangs forcing reboot-no error message. Could someone help?

Wine comes with Kubuntu? Did not know. Whatever the heck, first upgrade and see if it resolves your problem.<br />Have YOU signed the Ubuntu code of Conduct? I did it at 10 AUG, 2009!

are you using winetricks to install .net, or just downloading the installer and running it that way , if you are not using winetricks try it (i have .net 2.0 installed from it)
