Is there anywhere you can buy Kubuntu Linux on cd / dvd at a reasonable price or obtain it for free? I would like to download it myself but don't have enough download limit to do so, which is why i would like to know.
Thanks

That's what they say, but when I ordered through ShipIt, I got my CDs in under two weeks.

I bought some disks a few years ago when I was on dialup. The company I used was Cheapbytes and they were nice to deal with. They're in the USA and have been in business a long time.
I see a lot of "Getting started with Ubuntu" packages at Borders bookstores - in the magazine section but not really magazines. More like starter sets - cds with some literature to get you started.

Where are you located mate?
The concept of open source is the share, surely some on could burn you a disc and post it to you.
A cd and postage could be much.
If you were in Australia, I do it for you.
