Okay, so i use KVPNC to connect to a VPN network. If i use Kopete (while connected), KVPNC disconnects and refuses to connect until i close it. Why does this happen?

What type of account in Kopete? Also, can you connect to your VPN from the command-line using vpnc and report if it disconnects when using Kopete. I stopped using vpnc recently in favor of anyconnect. When I used it I never observed vpnc disconnect with Kopete running and I kept Kopete running all day connected to Google's jabber server. I ran vpnc from command-line. I never used kvpnc.linux && bash = "the future"
