    Deleted files appear again.

After restarting the system (Logging out/rebooting/turning off), files i deleted appear again. Like, what the hell.
ADDED: Forgot to mention, i use EXT4 filesystem, if that helps.

What kind of files are those? Many configuration files are recreated upon bootup or login.

Openoffice docs, plain text files, some windows executables... well, they are not configurations.

That is probably irrelevant. I've been using ext4 since 9.04 Alpha and have not observed any filesystem problems.

How did you delete (or thought you deleted)?

Dolphin, right click, clicked Delete. (DELETE, not MOVE TO TRASH)

On mine, which is default KDE 4.3 it's the same menu item for "Move to Trash" and "Del". Did you customize the Dolphin menu, somehow? Does "move to trash" work correctly? Does the "rm" command on the command line work correctly?

You probably haven't enabled 'delete' in dolphin's settings>general>contextmenu

Definitely something fishy then. As dibl suggested, try the rm command to see if that works as expected.

Does this happen with all files/deletes, or just occasionally?

just sometimes(but still too often), and now i can't try rm, nor move to trash, cause i have no files to delete.

<Shift> + <Delete> will erase them irretrievably, so be careful to only use it on files you will not want again.

doh, i know. Exactly why i used shift+del, not del. i hate trashing stuff.

Ahhhhhhhh -- see, I learned something today -- thanks kubicle!

Upon reflection, however, I think I'm going to stick with letting it go to trash first. Once in awhile that second chance to make the "delete" decision comes in very handy!
