I wubi installed ubuntu 8.04 - the Hardy Heron for dual boot with windows on PC. Later installed KDE and Kubuntu. Later tried to upgrade Kubuntu. PC went blank. After sometime i thought PC had hung and switched it off. Only to find on reboot that Kubuntu was corrupted. I can no longer log in on KDE. But gnome is working fine. Any way to get back KDE without reinstalling Kubuntu? When I try update manager I get the message:
