    secure wireless connection problem

    Hello,
i installed kubuntu 9.04, but i'm having troubles connecting to my secure network. I used the NetworkManager Utility to configure the connection (authentication method, security and encryption type), and yet it does not connect. i have the same configurations on my vista system and it works. Network Manager let's me connect to an unsecured network so i don't think it's a card compatibility problem or something like that.
So anyone can help me please.
    thank you

    Try the application called: wicd
    instead of NetworkManager

...and just because wireless works in Windows is no guarantee that it will work (without some extra input) in Linux.
