    Gconf-editor under KDE

Whats up Im brandnew to Linux and have a question about enabling overburn, and turning off hibernation and sleep while using KDE. I had previously been using gnome and had disabled hibernation and sleep and also enabled overburn for disc burning by using a app called Gconf-editor. However this is not installed under KDE and when i had told it to install it it did not have the ability to make the above changes like it did while I was using gnome.

Can anyone tell me how i go about doing this while using KDE

    Hi,

Most of these things are configured in System Settings in KDE. I would definitely start there. As for burning, please open k3b and configure it (Settings Menu).

    HTH!
