Adding Desktop Shortcuts to Kicker

I am currently using prism to create desktop shortcuts to web apps that I use.

I would like to add these shortcuts to the Kicker launcher. but when I right click on the Kicker button, select Menu Editor, and try and add a shortcut to the .desktop file for each app, it doesn't work. The shortcut appears in the menu list, but when I click on it, nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong?

The launch feedback is activated whenever a .desktop file has been clicked, not when an application is actually being loaded. Have you specified the command to execute in the .desktop file?
