    How do you use a file manager to change your partition size for 9.04?

    You might want to try using gparted to resize partitions (please backup first). Note that you need to do this from the Live CD. Just install gparted and use it.

      You're about 4GB short there. If you can't free up 5 GB of space for your Kubuntu installation, then you're going have problems pretty soon with running out of disk space.

      For partitioning, I recommend the GParted or Parted Magic Live CDs -- it's best to keep issue separate from the other things you need to focus on while installing, IMHO.
