Ok, I changed from using 32 bit Kubuntu this morning to 64 bit. Now I need to know how to use the ia32-libs package so I can get all those needed 32 bit programs (Adobe Flashplayer etc) working.

Re: The ia32-libs package
You don't "use" it, as such -- it just sits in the background and lets you install Google Earth or skype or whatever, and prevents you from getting the "wrong arch" error, or having to use the "-force-architecture" option.
For flash, and the rest of multimedia stuff, follow the instructions here, including for 64-bit Kubuntu:

Re: The ia32-libs package
Easy, just install it from the package manager but for the most part you really shouldn't have to; for example, Adobe has a 64-bit version of Flash. It even works in Konqueror on AMD64 (I'm watching stuff with it right now).
Now if I could just get the HTML video tag to work on AMD64 then everything'd be perfect
