    Wireless issues

I'm having issues with my HP Pavilion dv7-1133cl laptop. When I boot into Ubuntu (Gnome), my wireless works fine. When I boot into Kubuntu (KDE), I can't seem to figure out how to get it to work.

I'm fairly new to Linux so any (step-by-step-type) help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I assume, your wired connectin works fine, so I suggest try to install from repository other - better network manager, extra suitable for wireless, its name is wicd.
Kubuntu 16.04 on two computers and Kubuntu 17.04 on DELL Latitude 13

      yeah, in konsole, enter:
      Code:
      sudo apt-get install wicd
then load up wicd from the kmenu.
