In "System Activity", what do Virtual size, Memory and Shared Mem mean?

In "System Activity", every process has the following 3 parameters:

• Virtual size
  Memory
  Shared Mem

Can someone please tell me what they mean? Thanks and sorry for the stupid question.

You are referring to the display in KMenu > System > System Monitor?

Hover your cursor over the column titles for a couple of seconds, and the "definition" shows up.
