    Translucent windows - Solved

A couple of days ago, I installed "Ultimate Edition", a fancied-up Ubuntu, then I used synaptic to add KDE. It comes with windows set to be translucent when grabbed by the titlebar. I'm sure some people like this, but for me, it has become annoying. Because of the route I took to get here, I don't know if this is happening because of KDE or Ultimate Edition. How can I turn off the transparence/tranlucence feature? I'm using the kwin manager, not Compiz.

    Thanks!

System Settingsesktop - on the Desktop effects, go to the all effects tab. Look for the 'translucency' effect, and click the settings for this. you should find the option in there.
