what's md5 checksum for kubuntu 6.06?

    what's md5 checksum for kubuntu 6.06?

    don't know if there is really no such topic, but at least i found nothing. i have downloaded this one dvd (for i386) http://torrent.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/re...r/release/dvd/ with torrent and cannot find the md5 hash for this file. anybody has any ideas where is it hidden?

    p.s. after some year with suse i decided to try ubuntu and i even cannot burn the dvd to install it :S

    Having faced the same problem i also looked for the same thing... and foud it about five minutes ago

    p.s. i find ubuntu to be less of a head ache when it comes to installing things....

      oh, i forgot to put the most important, mine one for i386 dvd is 415692829ebc4d5a54e5ce6a4f15f1a6, so it seems everything is ok or at least we have the same corrupt version anyway i have burnt the dvd yesterday and launched the check from it and did not notice any errors

        Actually that list of sums is taken from a quite official place... And yep.... If it checked out (mine also... ) then it means that you have the exact same file as they have. Having the exact same corrupt version of a 3.4 GB file would really be something

        Now that i've written the dvd i'm off to installing it....
